Emerging Engagement Scholars Workshop
Overview
This intensive professional development program provides advanced doctoral students and early career faculty with background literature, facilitated discussion, mentoring, and presentations designed to increase their knowledge and enhance their practice of community engaged scholarship. Participation is limited and interested applicants must be nominated to be part of this workshop.
The workshop takes place in conjunction with the annual National Outreach Scholarship Conference each fall.
If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Tami Moore, Lisa Townson, or Lisa Marshall (2009 co-chairs).
2009 Workshop
Applications are now being accepted to the 2009 workshop.
Sponsors
In cooperation with a group of committed doctoral students, the National Center for the Study of University Engagement (NCSUE) helped create the Workshop in 2007 and continues to sponsor it in partnership with the annual National Outreach Scholarship Conference.
